VCV Rack Livestreamers - Twitch, YouTube, etc

If I may ask, what do you mean by screenshot of a “transcript” ?

I think, he just wants to see what “he” said. Just find the Dronehands VOD.

Oh ok I get it now. Dronehands doesn’t keep VOD so it’s gone for good now.

I thought to signal to rackers that posted in this discussion, that it looks like Twitch player’ embeds in the thread possibly need to be regenerated (simply editing and re-saving the post should do the trick). This issue was recently raised by @jaynothin - one can see this other recent thread in the forum for reference: Twitch embeded video broken/error

I’m streaming VCV Rack v2 at https://www.twitch.tv/vortico. Nothing too special; most of the features are from earlier this year.

I have done some VCV streams recently on twitch under 123keatonn and plan to continue to do so more on a more regular schedule soon! lowkey im kindof a noob but I’m still having fun making some patches and commentating and explaining the small bit I know over them. Feel free to hang out and watch, give ideas for the patch, or ask questions.

Thought this might be a good spot to drop our channel. We’ve been doing tutorials on VCV synthesis, focused on our modules, but also on general synthesis. These include patches that might be of interest, especially the MIDI CC mappings I created for various hardware synths: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxsGMiJ0WN91u65ltF_IOBg

Hi everyone,

My Voice of Hannya channel features small patches that are roughly 5m long so far. My first video showed the patching but I thought it takes too long to get to the music, what do you all prefer?

Please check it out https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj8lCq5TVvjyC46Ddn172Gg

Love your patches, I watch them all. (In batches as I’m not a frequent youtube guy anymore) maybe start with the patch but THEN show making it, kinda like the rats nest podcast or similar things. Maybe putting a time stamp in the bottom for those who don’t want to spoil the surprise.

seems like a good idea - I spun up a Twitch channel and if I’m cool enough I’ll stream regularly. what a perfect incentive to keep studying and making new things!

I don’t know how I managed to continually forget to mention my channel here. I create a lot of music with Rack and now a eurorack synth too. I’m at https://YouTube.com/zenwires

Hi,

I got some jams up on YT:

Unfortunately not many, I’m not posting regularly, but perhaps you find something interesting on there.

Hey folks! I’m going to be hanging out on twitch walking through the Madness Suite on Friday at noon EDT: Twitch

Hi There, I was thinking on making a kind of live workshop on Youtube about the Geodesics modules, like “how to make a controlable probabilistic drum groove with FATE”. describing what I do, answering questions in chat, so anyone can do it.

I really wish it could be like a workshop, with people making their own version of the patch in the live chat, though the sound on sound will be a problem…

Having it as a workshop would require

  • free subscribing to the workshop (though anyone is welcome in the live chat)
  • sending the startup patch to the subscribers
  • having a second screen (or the youtube video on a mobile device side by side to the computer)

Otherwise it could be just a youtube video with live chat for questions… What do you think of it? would you be interested, is there better way or better platform that comes in mind?

Cheers Pyer

I would absolutely love either option, though time zone differences probably make it easier to watch on YouTube but less interactive that way.
