What are you listening to?

My dad had this on vinyl, and I used to listen to it over and over as a five year old in the late 70s. It set the stage for me getting into electronic and experimental music. I just discovered that it’s now available on Apple Music! Amazing to reconnect with this formative experience.

Here’s a YT track:

I saw daughters once, but never Autechre. My fav Autechre record is “Peel Sessions 2,” and i can’t seem to find anyone else who has heard it.

It’s a moody ambient day for sure…

I’ve been listening to Trans, one of Neil Young’s most disliked albums, for the first time and… really liking it

There’s something carefree about it and this track in particular has a strangely contemporary synthwave sound to it, which I guess makes sense due to the genre’s inherent retro nature

The Utopia Strong is Steve Davis (DJ and champion snooker player), Kavus Torabi (Knifeworld/Guapo), and Michael J York (Coil/Teleplasmiste/Guapo). Their eponymous album is “a modular-driven kosmische colossus of transcendent power”.
