I saw this live stream yesterday: BBC Radiophonic Workshop online concert “Latency”. Much of it was pre-recorded tracks, including ones done the now-trad online way of everyone playing to a backing track then stitching on contributions.

At about 27m they describe a different technique - embracing the latency rather than trying to get round it. Something like a ‘tape loop’ that goes round between each person, each adding bits. No tech details, maybe in the Q&A later, but I’m imagining a great bit WEM Copycat with each person as a tape head :smile:

Then they play - wild.
