Still today, the music of the great video games are composed by several artists (ex: Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3,…).

I’ve been interested for a while in Hainbach, which has more or less the same approach: a mix of tape recorders, old instruments and up to date technology.

Yeh, there’s something about a tape loop that slows the world down for a while and everything becomes a timeless, warm haze.

This is an interesting slice of live soul/supper club ballad singing, Dionne Warwick and Isaac Hayes combine to reinterpret a number of songs and in many cases blend them together. Particularly like the playout of “I don’t know what to do, just walk on by…”

wow. I got the Halloween soundtrack, but that’s (obviously) and soundtrack. cool.

I love this video because a big room full of shy Finnish kids glued to their chairs and smiling politely is 100% the wrong audience for this composition. it belongs in a sweaty basement

Cool ! I like his ‘dark’ composed soundtracks. This one is great !

Just arrived by post!!!

Two godfathers of techno (one from Detroit, the other Berlin) got together and the result, unsurprisingly, spanks (in 6/4 no less!).

Finally got round to getting a sub for Tidal and have been jumping around all the Master quality recordings, there’s a lot of great jazz remasters in particular
