I find this a most beautiful song:
Was watching a movie, The Little Things, the story didn’t grip me too much, but I really liked the downbeat original soundtrack music. Turned out it was by Thomas Newman. Looked the guy up and not only did he have 15 oscar noms for soundtracks, he’s Randy Newman’s cousin, and there’s a crazy stat, the Newmans are the most Oscar nominated family, with 95 nominations between them!
Anyway, the soundtrack’s worth a listen, the way it sprinkles in little motifs

I like it. That is very much the direction I was going upon my retirement in 2018… until VCV “derailed” me in 2019 
My hardware studio includes two Moog Mother-32’s and lots of Korg semi-modulars.
