Holy moly!
What is it!!!
Question, or probably a feature request, for the Digital Sequencer XP: is there a way generate random sequences via trigger?
Maybe some kind of expander module that takes polyphonic trigger - generate random equence for the ‘track’ that receives a trigger.
Not Voxglitch, but have you experimented with Stoermelder Strip. It has trigger input for randomize of modules it is connected with in the row.
Sorry, there isn’t one, at the moment. You might try Stoermelder Strip, although I haven’t tried it myself.
Hi everyone! ![]()
I’m looking for a few brave souls to try out a new module that I’ve been working on. I’m not ready to dive into details. Why am I being so elusive? Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe I’m just not prepared to field questions about it just yet? It will be my first commercial module for VCV Rack!
Please…
- Windows users only for now. I don’t have a Mac build yet.
- You’ll need to know how to install it, which isn’t too difficult.
- If you have feedback, please contact me through direct messages rather than posting them here.
- Please don’t share information about it yet. Again, why? Maybe I want to get the front panel design updated first. Right now it is using “stock” components, and I want to make it look pretty before showing it off so that people don’t form early negative opinions of the front panel design before I have a chance to update it?
Contact me through DM if you’re interested!!
Hi, in the library I saw the new Voxglitch module, which I will of course buy asap. Just one question: unlike all the other module collections in the library, this one doesn’t have the subscribe / Add to cart button. Is that normal ? Thanks
That’s a great module! I am not in any way related to voxglitch, but I checked the vcv library and it shows the button for me (top left). I can’t buy it though (sanctions and all, also I am broke, but I tested this module few month back), so I can’t tell you if transaction goes through, but I think it will be fine. Try refreshing the cookies, maybe that’s the problem. Or maybe I misunderstood your problem
Oh! I see. I checked and it shows same thing for me. I am not sure if that’s a voxglitch problem, it looks like vcv library being glitchy again… It happens!
Bought Spores too, not a bad work.
The only thing - do i will wrong if say that there is lack of control for playing back itself ? (for playback “locator” i mean). There is only Reset (for position) for this. I mean does not sence if add additional control for playback marker too ? (speed, direction, start point).
Index should be direct cv to position.
Yes, i see that there is control for buffer placement, but nonetheless.
No, perhaps buffer manipulation negates the need for locator control, but I’m not entirely sure about that. ![]()
At least, as option (in form of expander for example) it seems to me would be useful.
would love to see a quick video of the Spores module in action! anyone wanna make a quickie viddy for your boy?
Can you send Spores a polyphonic chord CV? I searched the manual for polyphonic and all I found was the outs for the individual grains, wondering if there’s any other poly capability
I bought this and like a lot about it. Maybe I am missing something, but when loading your own sample, is there any way of setting the beginning and end points of the sample?
Having been burned by Frozen Wasteland/Frequency Domain…
A proper demo will go looong way to earning a purchase/donation.
Hi everyone! Sorry for not checking the forums earlier! Thanks for the kind words, and thanks for those who purchased it. It means a lot to me that you’re all happy with it, and don’t hesitate to reach out directly to me at clone45@gmail.com if you have any issues or questions.
I want to mention a few thing:
-
It currently has no synchronization features. You’ll notice in the drum example below that it’s not timed to the beat. You might experiment with setting the buffer length to the same BPM as your sample or signal input though.
-
Here’s a small sample pack that I’ve enjoyed using while testing. I generated these samples in Udio or Suno… I can’t recall which: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cX1XVVzywPHd0q6aZZcrWiYYoJitsZSA/view?usp=drive_link
Here are a few videos that I made today with it…
@ravasb, There is not. You’ll have to crop the sample yourself beforehand.
