The phrase that came to my mind was: Hold on to your pantyhose…

indeed i know shuttle358, but haven’t listened in ages. this is a great track!
i used to listen to a lot of idm, before i got back into ambient. artists like kettel, ochre, plaid, vector lovers, ametsub.
unfortunately, that’s the kind of beat i can’t stand. i need something more varied. i’m not saying it’s good or bad. it’s just a personal taste thing. four to the floor is an instant turn-off for me.
i like jan jelinek’s beats because they are subtle, glitchy, and have interesting variations. i love that jazzy feel.
this is also great, more minimal and experimental:
You’re not the only one! Started for me already in the late 70’s where everything was being ‘disco-fied’, which meant you can play any old crap as long as it has a steady kick drum. Since then everything had to be ‘rap-ified’ or ‘techno-fied’ or ‘house-ified’ or other-fied. Just can’t stand that aspect of mainstreaming music.
ok, seen. which language is it?
possibly albanian
Small Systems - Part 7 with VCV Rack by Rheyne

70’s Turkish folk funk jam
Astral Projection by Helene Vogelsinger
I sent him an email once, and that was a .cz domain, so potentially Czech?
@ablaut , I think the words are really what solidifies the album for me, they add that unity and commentary whilst the music adds a backdrop, but I can see why you might not get on with it; agree to disagree eh!
