Doepfer is a good analogy, because they were the first in the format and implement most people’s concept of generic modular synthesis, but they’re not based on any particular hardware.

Another change. Lindenburgh’s Valerie is a clone of the Korg MS20 filter, not Roland’s.

hahaha that’s right. The software version existed before the hardware. I’m doing other back-clones so a category would be necessary.

KlirrFactory ClockMultiplier / Ratcheting Controller is highly based on Doepfer A-160-5 http://www.doepfer.de/a1605.htm I did a few design changes (Dividers from 1-16 instead of 3 different divider sets).

Can Blamsoft XFX Reverb is a clone of itself? It is ported code by the original owner.

The VCV Library now contains a hardware clone tag, and developers should update it.

This also enables the hardware site Modular Grid to have a link into the VCV library. image
