Great music and superb lyrics.
Latest creation is an ambient track called “It All Sums to Zero”. VCV was used to generate the electronic sounds with ambient guitar added in GarageBand. The video was made using Magic Music Visuals.
That’s a really nice patch, great work, very catchy!
i like your idea to combine your impressive photos with your music. after the patches came out on patchstorage i heard them several times and let the photos impact on me. i also subscribe to your yt channel.
Here is the results of my latest project, the VCV Rack patch is being played with an Arturia Keystep 37 and an Akai LPD8. The video was created using Magic Music Visuals.
Very nice piece, great composition!
The idea behind this project was to have a track that partly played on keyboard and partly played by triggering a sequence. Which is what I have done. Originally I planned for the sound to be harsher and more industrial, but everything ended up quite mellow. That is just the way things go sometimes. Everything used is in Patch Storage. Enjoy.
Takes me back to the early 90’s
I’d love to get back to the early 90s. I was half the age I am now.
I was third the age ![]()
what is “vector synthesis”?
A voice has 4 oscillators that get mixed together. There is a more detailed explanation on wikipedia. Vector synthesis - Wikipedia
ah, ok. cool.
The Venom Cross Fade 3D does the same but with an additional Z axis, allowing you to work with up to 8 voices instead of just 4.
but isn’t “vector synthesis” more about making a 2D array of wavetables that sound good when you go thought them x and y? I would think the cross-fade is the least of it.
Could be, I don’t know. I was just responding to @The_Urban_Hermit’s response, and more importantly, his use of the Nysthi Vector Mixer. Cross Fade 3D takes away the 2D mouse vector control, but adds the Z axis CV control. I actually played with the Nysthi Vector Mixer a bit in preparation of creating Cross Fade 3D.
