… or show a multicolumn list – there’s lots more real estate on the monitor: use it efficiently.
where can i find it?
i dont see it in the library.
Too bad it doesn’t have a way to sync…
Another wish I have: Ctrl-Shift-D to duplicate the selected module with cables but excluding the output cables.
thank you. i overlooked it.
When 1+ modules are selected (highlighted in red), currently (at least on Windows), one must left click in empty rack space in order to release/de-select the module(s).
Please: when 1+ modules are selected (highlighted in red) clicking anywhere other than the highlighted module(s), with either left- or right-click, should release/de-select the highlighted module(s).
anywhere should include… well, anywhere, ie: adding a cable, moving a knob, clicking on another module, adding another module, etc.
and hitting Esc should deselect too (at least on Windows).
does not on MacOS (arm64). but i have gotten used to click on empty space close to the selected ones
esc does not do work for me on my Win11 laptop or desktop. Appreciate the tip regardless.
Sorry for the confusion. I was saying that this is what I want Rack to do, not what it does. It should cancel selection on ESC, just like any other native windows app.
Hey guys. This goes in “something else”. I have an improvement request. I made a thread labelled “Request: themed skin modules feature/module nesting” and pretty much the idea of the themed skin modules aside from the nesting is to allow for a “theme editor” in a future version.
Anyone else find themselves typing in the Brand to find a module? I do it all the time because it’s more convenient. Then I have to search through all the modules of that brand to find the one I want.
There are a lot of Brands and it takes a long time to get down the list. If the Brand option was searchable instead of a drop-down menu it would be easier to use.
I requested a brand grid ages go for exactly this reason. Request ignored.
of course I type in what I’m looking for
i find that i wish the filters could go away after I grab the modules I want and its more annoying to clear than just to search brand
Plugin browser needs an that clears the search field using a
And what if … the filters had memory … or favorites.
The menu that comes up when you right-click a module needs arrow key navigation. Up/Down to scroll thru the items and right/left to go into and out of sub-menus.
