as you may have noticed, I’m back. I still have trouble seeing really sharp, but that won’t get any better either, so I’ve learned to deal with it.
The News of the Rack is back with me, of course, but again in a new format, but still in German and English. Thanks to the new format as a blog, I can on the one hand be up to date and on the other hand, all posts are (hopefully) easier to find.
I won’t go into patches, presets and pure music productions in the future, because that eats up too much time.
You will find challenges & cooperations (like the VCP and the Drone Day) under the news.
At the moment I have compiled the last 14 days and am now working my way back to week 46/2020, which creates a seamless connection to the old format. But that will probably take a while, because topicality always comes first.
I look forward to your comments, criticism and suggestions and wish you a lot of fun with the new News of the Rack.
Awesome, a smooth companion to the VCV Library in a nice friendly format. I predict it will grow so much over time. Thanks for this, we all have to pay you a great tribute for your dedication. Best wishes and good luck with your new creation!
there isn’t centralized page(feed) with all post in reverse chronological order
there isn’t way to receive updates for new posts (RSS, notification)
posts do not marked with dates
can not tell when it was posted or when blog was last updated
there isn’t way to leave comment under post
I like reading blogs with features mentioned above, because it is easier to see what content is new or reading weekly newsletters in format of .pdf or email subscription.
thanks for your suggestions, I will answer them in the same order
I don’t need such a feature, because I always jump to the categories, but I can include that on the starting page
I have to figure out how to do notifications, but I don’t know if this is possible in the free version of Jimdo and I have no intention in paying money for that blog
from now on there will be timestamps
the same as 2, but also it will get to crowded and confusing like Facebook. News of the Rack is foremost a newspaper.
I will announce every update here and in Facebook, so you can get notifications and can comment there.
Indeed! What to you think is the best way to make sure to see all the new stuff on the blog? I think clicking through all four sections is the best way?
