that’s a nice evolution! glad to have inspired you.
here’s the original patch, if anyone wants to use that as a starting point. it’s simple and open to being improved / built upon.

This is a lovely sound. What’s the plugin shown at around 40 seconds?
@Jens.Peter.Nielsen beat me to it, but yes, plugin is called Love, by Dawesome, a nice granular effect with a clean and simple interface ![]()
Ah, thanks. I’ve seen a few people recommending that on the forum but I’m not buying any new plugins for a while. I keep buying stuff then forgetting to use it! I already have Unfiltered Audio Silo and Arturia Fragments which can both do similar effects. Sounds good though.
Nice one Marc !
Thanks Lars! ![]()
Beautiful-is the patch available to play around with. I have just downloaded Sonatina Cello and VSCO2 Cello section under the influence of this patch. Much appreciated.
So cool Marc!
First play with the new Note-Echo module! It’s used all along the piece with the massively reverbed piano notes, and near the end with the electric piano. The module was specifically designed when making this piece, which initially started out with a bunch of VCV ASR modules. Hopefully it can be of use to others and can inspire creative creations!
That Note-Echo module is quite a thing! Thanks Marc!
Got to agree with the pgatt, a great module, it did take a little experimentation, but I got it to do some wonderful things on AI Resonator as a guitar sound and then looping it with Path Set Hypha.
Some live looping while testing the new Note-Loop module and the new Loop feature added to the Note-Echo module. This shows an example of CV-Gate based delay/looping, as opposed to the usual audio based delays/loopers. Oh, and sorry I stole your song title @LarsBjerregaard !
Update not yet in the library as testing and documentation are not finished, but so far so good ![]()
Cool! Looks interesting… I shall nickname it “Phillip Glass In A Box”. Nice patch.
Thanks Lars!
Another hybridization project between VCV Rack and Modartt Pianoteq, mixing ostinatos and delays, over a subtle canvas of shimmer reverb and choir.
Hi Marc, your musical output is rare but always superb, including this one. But the Note-Echo modules don’t look like they should… Are these your personal versions? Or can we perhaps hope for an update?
Thanks for the kind words! My last two videos (Cadence and Note Echoes) were made a few months ago while I was developing the modules, and since then the code has been redesigned, and the panel layout updated. At one point I had incorporated a looper, but that was then spun off as another module (NoteLoop), in order to keep things modular. So the version in the library now is the lastest version (minus a small feature that will be in the next update), and so it should function as before, but to get the looper it should be connected to a NoteLoop module. Cheers!
