Keyboard Shortcuts

Is there a list of all keyboard shortcuts in the application some where? I have searched through this forum and the docs and have not found anything useful.

Thanks

I asked, too, and it’s not documented anywhere.

All key commands are listed in the menu bar and module context menu, except for

  • Arrow keys with optional modifiers Shift, Ctrl (Cmd on Mac), and Shift-Ctrl to pan the rack.
  • Middle-click drag to pan the rack.
  • Ctrl-+ and Ctrl-- to zoom the rack in and out.

on Mac

With a mouse :

  • Clic left + deplacement : increment/decrement per 10^(-3) step
  • CMD + Clic left + deplacement : increment/decrement per 10^(-4) step
  • CMD + Shift + Clic left + deplacement : increment/decrement 10^(-5) step

With the trackpad :

  • Three finger movement up / down : increment/decrement per 10^(-3) step
  • CMD + Three finger movement up / down : increment/decrement per 10^(-4) step
  • CMD + Shift + Three finger movement up / down : increment/decrement 10^(-5) step
  • Two finger movement up / down : rack pan (dĂ©placement)
  • CMD + Two finger movement up / down : zoom in/out

Is there a combination of shorcut keys so that the step is10^(-2) or 10^(-1) ?

I’ll add one I learned that was a game changer: If you hold down ctrl/cmd when you move a module horizontally, it will push any that are in its way as you move it. Wish there was a way to move a group of modules vertically too, but not one that I know of.

You might like this handy module called “Room”. I keep one in my default patch template!

it doesn’t seem possible (but let me know if it is) - a nice feature in the future would be to allow for customization of a few shortcuts… specifically It would be great to match some conventions for navigation in other mainstream software.such as:

instead of right click to get to module menu use TAB instead

instead of CNTL+ - to zoom in out, mmb scroll wheel.

Changing to those suggested conventions will meet match many other software that I personally use, but if there was a shortcut editor I would just change them as I see fit and other users could choose their preferences.

Ctrl+Scroll wheel zooms for me (Windows).

Oddity: if Rack doesn’t have focus, it only scrolls, even with Ctrl.

ah nice!! cntl +scroll well ill take what I can get… but yea it is interesting that cntl+scroll doesn’t zoom but it pans when app isn’t in focus

My Seq++ module has had a fully re mappable keyboard interface for many years, so I assume this is possible.
