How to sequence notes with different durations?

The bordL sequencer has a V setting for each step. If you run the gate output from bordL into a Trigger Delay, and use the V output to modulate the length of the Trigger Delay, you can adjust the length of each step with the V knobs.

Thanks for the information @azrrik, I’ll take a look as it seems quite interesting, although I do not have much time during the week for VCV Rack .

I am currently experimenting with the KoralFX Scorovnic as @Omri_Cohen suggested me, since that is what I was really looking for, and in a single module! … But as I said, bordL seems also interesting although it has the added difficulty for a beginner, of having to use also other modules (anyway, I love challenges a lot!).

Thanks again, and I will let you know the results of my experiments with bordL.

Yeah, Scorovnic is a nice one!

Amalgamated Harmonics’ Imperfect2 transforms triggers into gates with variably randomised lengths, if that’s what you’re looking for…

Hello, how can I download Scorovnic when it is not available in the library? :cherry_blossom:

There’s an old build for vcv rack 2 available (no mac arm64 build)

They load here on windows, but I haven’t used them much.

If it doesn’t work in latest vcv, let us know.

I cant find the modules folder on my computer. I dont seem to have a plugins folder as in:

Where does VCV store the modules on the PC - Plugins & Modules - VCV Community

there must be a plugin folder … look again.

unpack the zip - then move the KoralFX-2.0.4-ARCH.vcvplugin (ARCH is one of lin/mac/win - whatever matches your system) into your plugin folder as described in the official docs. .

Hi there! Very late reply, but still a good solution to sequence step length
