Hi folks.
Still looking for simple MIDI player, preferable without mandatory to external clocking etc. Ie with built in clock rates list and builtin run ability.
Such seems already mentioned Seq++ by Squinky Labs, at least visually looks seems it is (internal clock and run button), so i tried it - importing MIDI ok, but i did not able to run it (by enable run button).
Is this really does not works in that way ? Or i did miss something.
I’m not sure that Seq++ has an internal clock. The clock rate parameter controls how it interprets the clock signal but AFAIK you still have to feed it a clock signal.

Entrian Free will import and play MIDI files:
It needs an external clock, but I’d be surprised if there was a Rack MIDI player that didn’t.
