Great composition, Mateusz
. Très beau.
Palette of sounds
Hi Rackerz Today have a “little” free time to testing of Palette module from Atelier (made by Xenakios and Pyer). Excelent work guys. I’m impressed. You can find this here:
Palette module is a reworking of the Mutable/Audible Instruments Plaits/Macro Oscillator 2 module. I’m fall in love this. “…New modules based on Mutable/Audible Instruments modules or completely new modules may appear in the future.” - great news guys. Cheers
Hello Guys and Gals. This time I present a little excersises with new polyphonic updated module FATE from Geodesics and new “mandolin” sounds pack from Spitfire Audio LABS. Cheers
Serenity on a hot morning
Hello in August my friends. It’s awfully hot outside today. So just to cool down something extremely lazy cool at once. A few days ago something new appeared in the world of free VST plugins. Serenity by Quiet Music
So that’s all. Thanks for watching and Cheers
Drummer wet dreams
Little crazy patch with some Prok modules and new modules from JW Modules. Cheers
p.s.
this is a little joke ![]()

Restless soul asylum
Hi there friends. Today I show you my new project. I called it “restless soul asylum” because it perfectly reflects my mood today. After a hard day looking after my son. This moment spent with headphones on and composing or rather sticking ideas together to create a neat whole. I could sit there for hours and record this track. Anyway, enjoy listening. Plugins I used: Lekko from Felt Instruments (brilliant plugin) and a second free Serenity from Quiet Music. Cheers
Ballenoia
Hi there. Today I presents patch with new module Ball of Confusion from Frequency Domain. This is my first encounter with this module. Thanks for inspirations Omri ![]()
Terrorform from the Deep Space
Hello my Friends. Today I’m proud to present my new piece of VCV Rack music. New module from Valley Terrorform are fabulous. Finally I found some free hour to make patch and recorded it for you. Cheers

Seeking lands to West of West
I hope you are well. Today I am presenting you my new track. At the outset, I have to thank Omri Cohen for the inspiration as always. This time I allowed myself to do a little theft and used a fragment of his patch prepared for patrons. Sorry, Omri, I’m putting this on into the cyberworld. It is a tiny piece - of course I changed “a little”
Oh, sorry in advance for the quality of the recording this time. It results from the fact that my equipment does not keep up with my ideas. Starting VCV Rack and recording in OBS at times has a hiccup on my processor. It’s probably time for some changes. This time I present to you an idea that I intend to use in the future in my new album, the recording of which I am slowly getting down to. I hope you will like it despite some glitches in the recording. Cheers and take care.
My patch files you find here
Hi Mateusz, have you tried any of the following?
- using the native VCV video recording feature rather than OBS
- reducing VCV framerate (20-30 FPS rather than the default 60 can still be acceptable)
- enabling Cloak Mode on Mixmaster
- use the VCV CPU meter to detect the most CPU-hungry modules and maybe replace them with a ligher alternative (I use an old CPU and I often have to do that with Plateau)
- reducing your display resolution, and thus the resolution of your recording (some modules exist that can help recording patches that are bigger than the screen, like Aria_Salvatrice’s Undular and stoermelder 's GOTO
- off topic here, but of course OBS settings may need to be tweaked
Dreamer voyages
Hello there Rackerz. “Dreamer voyages” is my next VCV Rack project. This time I wanted to go deeper to control the sound and color its structure a bit. Monotonous rhythmic textures made this slightly hypnotic piece. Cheers
On the island behind the Sun
My dear Rackers. Today I would like to present you such a small little experiment. I have been in love with Spitfire Audio products for a year and a half. Until recently, I only operated on free LABS sound banks from this company. For a few months I have been the owner of the DISCOVER BBC Symphony Orchestra package (although it was small because it was also available on promotion a few months ago) and I am very happy with it. However, for a dozen or so hours two brilliant extensions from the Originals series - Felt Piano “… Recorded dry at Spitfire Studios, with soft felt placed between the hammers and the strings. Condenser, Ribbon, and Hammers signals …” and Intimate Strings “… Chamber section (8,6,4,4,3) featuring 25 of London’s finest string players. Expertly recorded in the reverberant acoustics of AIR Studios, home of blockbuster scores …”. These two sound packs available as VST plugins in combination with the ingenious Meander Module from PurrSoftware - Ken Chaffin thanks for creating it did everything in this video. Another VST Lekko plugin from Felt Instruments and trumpets and tubes from the Discover package took part in the recording. That’s it. I hope you will enjoy listening to it. In this set of instruments, and with this possibility of change, the music itself can play for hours. Cheers
Rumbled in the Night City
Hi Rackerz today I have a little sesion with new simpliciter control module from NYSTHI. This little one are beast. I have a lots of fun to make this patch. This time it is a long story from City of Night. I wish you a nice weekend and lots of ideas to make in VCV Rack. Thanks to Antonio Tuzzi for this addon and all hard work. Cya to my next video. Cheers
Thank you for your kind words about Meander. To me, seeing Meander used in the wild is the true measure of success.
Supercell Chaotic suite for non-music housekeeper
Bazinga!! everyone.
I performed this one patch live on my computer keyboard and mouse.
As a soundsource I use sounds from Spitfire Audio BBC Symphony Orchestra vst plugin in VCV Host module. All effects in this case are from Supercell (Greyscale) module and Chronoblob2 (Alright Devices) and Plateau (Valley). Cheers.
Very cool! This reminds me of György Ligeti’s - Atmosphères - in 2001: A Space Odyssey.
I appreciate your opinion. Maybe you really get that impression. But it was completely random accident. Thank you very much Ken.
For sure. I should have said it differently. Sorry.
Noctua
Hello Rackerz today I present my little experiment with looping and delayed sounds. This is a very long piece so be patient. I hope you enjoy it. Of course sound textures are from Spitfire Audio Labs new Textural pads : Cyclosa and Spitfire Audio Originals Felt piano via VCV Host module in this case both are VST3 plugins.
