DIY Blank Panels using a laser cutter/engraver

My dad has an Atomstack A5 Pro laser cutter & engraver, which we have been using to make some DIY custom blank panels for my hardware Eurorack.

Obviously I created Gigeresque Spaghetti Horror images to put on them…

Anyway, I created the template images in Illustrator, but pretty sure you could achieve something usable in Inkscape or a similar application.

Here is an example of one of my templates that I used, the free software that is compatible with this cutter has to do engraving and cutting as separate tasks, so there are two templates:
