The first thing I noticed when I opened Chem… Small cosmetic flaw.
Thanks for pointing that out! I recently completely switched the ui theming system, and I’m probably missing a style entry for the pedal sliders. If that’s the issue, it’s an easy fix. Changing UI theme might resolve it (or just make things worse :-). Try the Wire theme.
Edit: Turns out to be theme-related, but not just a missing theme entry (although there was missing entry for the modulation indicator). The Sus/Sus modules weren’t updating themes on init like they should for non-SVG-based controls like these sliders are. Fixed.
CHEM is designed for EaganMatrix devices, not Linnstrument. If you’re using a Linnstrument, I suggest looking at AHornberg’s MPE module, which is primarily designed for Linnstrument (because that’s the controller he has).
I’ll need to look into the EM’s support for surface splits and see what I can do. On the EM, split mode I think always uses PolyAt on channel 1 for one side. The EM split modes don’t apply to the Osmose, and EE has provided no MIDI interface for configuring or detecting splits.
I just submitted CHEM 2.03 to the Rack library (pachde One is also pending an update).
Core:
- WXYZ outputs so you can control polyphonic Rack voices with full Haken MPE+ extended resolution from your continuum or Osmose.
- Available Built-in slew on Y and Z so you don’t need external modules.
- Test midi button (♪) plays a little motif on the current preset on your device.
Preset:
- Preset navigation and selection using a Midi controller or keyboard.
