Plaits and Tides modulating themselves to create a weird Radiophonic alien jail soundscape thing.

Drum n Bass beat maker thing, sort of.

The explanation of how it works is in the notes in the patch, but basically toggle the X button on the Random Sampler to lock in new beats.

An Audible Instruments Random Sampler, Tidal Modulator, Quad VC-Polarizer and Macro Oscillator 2 combine to make a Complain-O-Tron, for all your complaint, whining and whinging needs.

An experiment using the Particle Noise model of the Audible Instruments Macro Oscillator 2 (aka Plaits) to make thunder, with the help of the Tidal Modulator (aka Tides v1) and some reverb.

For when you want to do a cover version of either Oxygene Part VI by Jarre or Dancing In The City by Marshall Hain. Your choice.

Audible Instruments Macro Oscillator 2 (aka Mutable Instruments Plaits) feeding back into itself via Kinks and Blinds to make bonkers LFO shapes which modulate another Plaits to create a very bad dream. Let it run. Turn the sound down first. Try the other synthesis models and change the frequencies of both Plaits to get variations. I won’t say enjoy as it sounds a bit scary. :scream_cat:

And a “broken radio wasteland” variation thing made by changing a few settings on both Plaits. Endless, er, fun? nightmare2.vcv (2.0 KB)

I put both versions together with version 2 going into the right hand channel. Ran all afternoon yesterday. I love it

As you know, all Agamemnon brand kotos are waterproof and come with a paddle for when you need to row home during the rush hour.

Thanks. Hamster Ambient Drone Radio sounds it could be a goer. :+1:

Oh, sorry I forgot but it’s a long row home to Japan and they might have to face an Odyssey trip journey!!

Plaits as an LFO modulating a Braids making drones. Change the Braids model (move the EDIT knob) for different flavours.

A kind of longhorn sound, but it only works in a very limited note range. The idea was to send the V/Oct that is going into the Plaits into the Supercell as well but attenuated down so that the Supercell would do weird things with the pitch of the sound.

For the sound when the patch loads, you’ll have to go down the keyboard to find the small range where the horn sound appears. It’s quite nice when it does. Change to other Plaits models (e.g. the chords) and mess with the ADSR (which is affecting the V/Oct going into Supercell) for more fun.

How is Agamemnon? :hamster:

As usual, I have messed with patch and endless Koto and trumpet horn sounds are the results and I have added Tubes [Horns and Brass] and Taps [reverse delay] to give it even more weird capabilities. Thanks for coming up with this patch.

Feeling his age.

Be careful of Koto Overload. (Though you can get an ointment for that these days.)

Oh the wonders of modern science, what a world we live in! Be careful that thou dust not be overwhelmed by such witchery brethen!

You heard the man. Careful with the kotos, kids.

Kind of an 80s ZTT / Art of Noise / Fairlight type mono choir voice thing. Made by putting the snare model (!) from the Plaits through Supercell.

Just a little test of the @Squinky Squinktronix Harmony module. It’s making the notes, other things are making the sounds.
