Fully working here on Mac as far as I can tell. Three running side by side and changing preset every bar of music. Very cool!
I have uploaded a new version 2.0.11 for all platforms. This version has improved resizing, where the black space on the right side is gone. I also have added some more debugging information to solve specific mac issues.
A tiny black strip of maybe 2 pixels is still on right after resize, but otherwise now seems to function fine on this M1 Mini running MAcOS 12.4
That one is created by projectM , we have to live with it. By the way, you are running the windowed version right? I guess the embedded is still failing for you on the Mac.
no, that was the embedded one which now seems fine on Mac⌠No real issue that small black bar on right, just that itâs noticeable. All good as far as I can see, also uses virtually no CPU and a trickle of GPU onlyâŚ
It is that time of the week again., I have uploaded a new version of LowFatMilk (2.0.12).
- It is now possible to search in the list of presets (case sensitive!)
- The module now shines in the dark!
For any new requirements or issues, please raise them on Github: Issues ¡ kockie69/RPJ (github.com)
We need to order new coffee, so if you like the module: donations are still welcome
Because I enabled the shining in the dark, the resizing of the window was broken. Switched of the shining functionality for now. Please download 2.0.13 where this is fixed and I also have added the option to select either case sensitive or non case sensitive search.
A new version 2.0.15 is available for download from LowFatMilk - Google Drive
What has been added and Fixed?
Added
- Beat sensitivity that can be controlled by buttons
- Aspect correction that can be enabled and disabled in the menu
- Glow in the dark
What is Fixed: -When selecting different presets by using the next/prev buttons or the cv to the rendering sometimes got a mess, this has now been fixed.
Thanks again, Robert ! Iâll check it out today. Sorry for the delay here, weâve been dealing with a wedding.
I could try former versions, but latest donât even appear in the browser. Is there some way to debug whatâs happening? Thanks.
Can you tell me what platform are you on? What version of Rack are you on?
I have issues myself on Linux that I have to debug. The windows version is working for me.
Iâm using Rack 2.1.2. Failed in Ubuntu Studio 20.04. In the win10 box put the glew dll in system32 and the projectm in the rack folder but failed again. It doesnât appears in the browser,
I know where the issue is and I am currently working on a solution.
I expect a new version available in a couple of hours. Thanks for letting me know and I hope you will like the new release
On windows did you put it in the âC:\Program Files\VCVâ rack folder? I tried it last night for the first time and got it working on windows 10 after I read this post
Itâs very cool
On Linux (and I guess on Mac) there is a specific issues that is causing the module to crash. But on Windows it should be working as you say
I thought it had to be the 32 version because itâs system32⌠Now works! Thanks.
also could make it work again in Ubuntu⌠my bad. Thank you.
Can you delete the module in rack? And what happens if you add a new one? That was crashing on my linux box. Currently running tests but looks solved for me.
Yes, it crashes when I attempt to delete it. No problem to have two instances running.
Sometimes the projectM.dll mysterously dissapears. Think that was the issue I had first.
A new version 2.0.16 has been uploaded which fixes the crashes whilst deleting and adding the module on Linux (and maybe Mac but this wasnât confirmed). This version also adds the hardcut selection functionality.
Please read the thread for installation instructions on your specific platform. I will add a readme with installation instructions soon.
