ok, now it makes sense.
It is a knob on the Nysthi module “Simpliciter”, which was once described as the poor-man’s Morphagene. I have never been able to pinpoint what it does, but it definitely changes the sound coming out and usually makes it sound better.
I thought that it was a slew/fade for when looping, I think at some point it was changed to also have an effect on the pitch slightly.
