I’m looking forward to the release of VCV Rack v2.0 a lot. Will there be a way of loading VCV v1.1.6 patches into VCV v2.0? Having backwards compatibility or a really good batch conversion or single patch conversion utility is kind of vital to be able to load the trove of patches from the past.

I would expect them to load just fine. Assuming there are V2 versions of all the modules in the patch.
Oh yes of course. Do you think that I may still be able to load the v1.1.6 if some modules are missing and just rewire with different modules?
That’s what happens with v1 patches when you don’t have all the modules.
Yes, the Rack 1 .vcv patch format can be loaded with Rack 2.
