Hi, I’m probably just an idiot, but I just purchased Rack 2 but can’t figure out where to get the vst plug-in from; I thought maybe it would just install it when I upgraded, but it’s not showing up in Ableton.

I think that is my problem, I already have been using free version and it seemed to upgrade itself after I paid, but I guess I need to uninstall and reinstall a pro version?
You didn’t mention which OS you are using.
But yes, if you didn’t see an installer asking or mentioning where the VST will be installed, then indeed uninstall Rack , and manually install Rack Pro.
You can have both installed - Rack 2 Pro is a seperate download and install.
