My first exposure to Lee Sklar’s work was on Billy Cobham’s “Spectrum.” That’s also where I first heard Jan Hammer.

Just fuond out he did the one bar over and over bass part from Billy Cobham’s Stratus. I’m also a fan of Waddy Wachtel.
Director Alan Parker died (Midnight Express, Mississippi Burning, Fame, Evita, The Wall) . He enlisted Peter Gabriel to make his first soundtrack album for the film Birdy.

My wife and I saw BORIS a couple of years back, it was a lot of fun. Just got their most recent album (25th? who knows?) it’s good. I tried to name a cat Wata but got overruled.
