Kind of… Simonetti was part of the movie soundtracks Goblin, indeed; but at some point the band’s name issue became more convoluted than Christian Death’s.
The video I posted is a new rendition (with accompanying new video) of the classic Suspiria movie track.
Simonetti by his lonesome… from a movie that managed to unsettle me.

Love that one, of its two sequels… I find Inferno to be the weakest.

I don’t think so. I think I did see Inferno when it came out… is that the one with a movie theater?
No, no movie theater in Inferno; but it alternates the story between NYC and Rome.
If the movie theater includes a movie within the movie that affects the characters in the “real world”, punks and at least one Billy Idol song, that one is “Demoni”, the one for the Simonetti sans Goblin track I posted (great movie, IMO)… if it’s a theater and it includes Sellotape and pins glued to eyelids… then it is “Opera”… otherwise… I would need a little plot to try and figure out which one ;).

Indeed, it was released exactly 40 years ago.
Its first sequel is the one I found “meh”.
So weird to suddenly rediscover long forgotten albums.

Spotify lists a 2025 release by sun electric, which is without question someone else’s AI slop. Just some lowest common denominator kind of Dance music for waiting lines trash. I hate this timeline.
