Man that is awesome! Thanks for sharing
Such a nice moment in Listening to Music when a while ago, one track of that randomly played on the streaming app and I “Whoa!? Fuck Yeah!” put on the album and rediscovered, song for song, what I had completely forgotten about and I then remembered the look of the cassette with my drawing of Testament’s logo on the label. Great record!
Their best, IMO ![]()
Love the dirt distortion and the simple means.
It’s probably the most sparse track of a great, explosive album. But I’ve found myself liking a lot of music that comes out of Mali.
Thanks Paul, pretty good form. Damn I would so like to see one of those concerts. Here’s hoping for Europe…
Oh boy, what a banger
For the uninitiated - this is what muzak sounds like. It’s “ambient music” before Eno came around and said “I think I can do better than that”. Granted, I don’t think “Ambient 4 - On Land” would do particularly well in a supermarket ![]()
This is a delightful record!
Loaded the sysex patches in my Digitone. What a fulfillment. This really hits deep.
