VCV2 + Apple Silicon

Apologies if this has already been answered, but will there be a native Apple Silicon version of VCV2, rather than running through Rosetta?

I am sure eventually, patience is a virtue

That is very true, and I have immense respect for what Andrew has done and continues to do. That said, Apple Silicon has been available for over a year and VCV2 has been in development for even longer. It would seem that such a significant version update (along with two paid “Pro” versions) would warrant getting that sorted at launch.

Apple Silicon is a different architecture (hardware) so needs serious work to be done right. Also some dependencies have to get native as well. Will come but to expect it at launch with massive overhaul of the software taking up the 2 full years is a bit much to ask methinks. Patience as it reports to run well under Rosetta2

Vcvrack 2 “runs” under rossetta2, but is unusably slow.

that is not what all the other reports say.

uhm, not on my M2, runs fine here. Mileage may vary of course depending on patch complexity and CPU hogging module choices…
