Thanks for the answer. I ve got another question. Am i gonna lose modules if i unsubscribe to VCV+ and buy VCV RACK PRO instead ?

The only modules you’ll get when buying Rack Pro are these: VCV - Pro Modules as @Jens.Peter.Nielsen mentioned above. Which means no other premium modules are included.

The reason to go VCV Pro is mostly for the vst plug-in for your DAW, let’s you patch right in your DAW recording software, it also comes with nice VCV pro modules

Thanks for all these informations. I asked the support team the same question.

Here is what they answered:

VCV Rack Pro comes with 6 modules which you can learn more about at VCV - Pro Modules VCV+ comes with Rack Pro and the modules listed at VCV Library - VCV+

So if you unsubscribe from VCV+ and purchase VCV Rack Pro, you’ll still be able to use VCV Rack in your DAW, but you’ll lose access to 282 - 6 = 276 modules.

Thanks Every one

Hi everyone, I’ve upgraded to VCV Pro and only have a few modules (flanger, chorus, reverb, IR, etc.), but the VST plugin isn’t included. I’m wondering if the upgrade was worth it.

I also understand that a project like VCV Rack is something that needs to be maintained, and at least for me, it’s been incredibly useful. But I don’t understand (or maybe I do) why they don’t include that VST plugin after paying that amount.

You able to use Pro as vst plugin (that already very worth). Just will not able to use vst inside VCV (that VST Host payable addon). And 37 modules (in Pro) is not a few heh.

Excuse me, I’m a beginner. I didn’t know it could be used as a VST instrument. That’s great news! I’ll try it out in Reaper or Waveform.

Thanks

It’s ok, im (relatively) beginner in VCV too. (Btw Highly recommend to buy vst host modules, that first which you need lol)
