VCV Recorder, Video file size.

So is this a known issue? when video capturing using VCV Recorder in V2, default settings and mpeg output, recorded about 2 minutes and got a 500MB file! Tried rendering this down with QuickTime and VLC but in both instances I lose audio.

use ffmpeg and set your target bitrate and resolutions.

for a 1024x768. 30 fps 1200kbs video 128kb audio VBR → ~150 mb

Thanks but where can I find these options on VCV Recorder, not in the right click?

Thanks for the replies guys, post processing it is then. This wasn’t an issue for me in V1 though.
