While Reaper-licenses are very affordable, their demo-version is fully usable (sort of forever); you will get a 10 seconds pop-up-reminder every launch for not paying for a great DAW, though. That is more than fair, I guess.

When i start a new file, the levels on the mixer always needs to be corrected. They are not exactly how they where saved. Also when I record, the levels are not the same as when played. Does anyone else have this to and what can I do about it?
