An while we’re talking VCV-Host enhancement requests. Wouldn’t it be nice to have multiple inputs, that get sent to different midi-channels in the VST, I think that is the most effective way to run VSTs like UVI Falcon and NI Kontakt.
I sent this request for enhancement long time ago - it was not categorically rejected, so it will probably happen, I think.
add: I have also suggested that the ability to patch up “disable” and “view”. Imagine using buttons on your midi controller to maximize/close a VST window.
the answer from VCV:
“following up regarding your feature request of being able to control whether VCV Host is enabled or bypassed and whether the window is shown or hidden via a trigger input, and there are a few too many obstacles so it won’t be something we pursue at this time.”
Maybe I didn’t pitch it right.
