Are v0.6.x patches expected to load and run in v1?

Guaranteed even though Rack v0.6.x is Beta software? Where is the guarantee stated?

The file format isn’t being changed. If the modules you use get ported, it should work. (Modules will probably get ported in higher volume when a release candidate is around.)
This sounds reassuring…last time I checked, the modules being available in a v1 development branch were very few compared to the ones available in v0.6. I thought this was somehow representative of a huge gap between the number of modules still under active development compared to abandoned projects.
Is there any way to know if our favorites modules are planned to be updated other than following the general news?
