i’m using an audio interface, and my laptop internal speakers. does it matter whether i choose to do a single aggregate interface, or have one audio output module for the interface and another audio output module for my laptop speakers? is one a “healthier” choice for vcv rack or my computer? i’m using a 16’’ M1 macbook pro
Huh. It has never occurred to me to even try to do something like that. […a few minutes later…] I just tried a test patch with audio going to my headphone jack and my MacBook Pro speakers. Yup, it works. That’ll be handy for monitoring audio with headphones while using Soundflower to provide audio for a screen recording.
Adding the extra AUDIO module didn’t cause the performance meters to spike or anything.
What about lag in the audio interface, relative to the speakers? Is that an issue for you?
