Triangle wave sound experiments in VCV Rack

All sound on this tracks use triangle wave (with VCO module in modular patch)

to make rhytmic & drone music composition (I choose triangle wave as sound

source to create experiment with. Challenging and limiting in produce a sound

experiment / music composition by applying only one sound source, push the

limit of creativity and sound design skill.)

A triangle wave sounds rather brassy.

The random wave sounds like white noise.

A sound with a regular pattern has a fundamental frequency which is the number

of peaks in the waveform per second.

A triangle wave is a non-sinusoidal waveform named for its triangular shape.

It is a periodic, piecewise linear, continuous real function.

Like a square wave, the triangle wave contains only odd harmonics.

However, the higher harmonics roll off much faster than in a square wave

(proportional to the inverse square of the harmonic number as opposed to just

the inverse).
