This sounds good! Have you tried our Seq++? It load and plays MIDI files, but it’s actually a full featured timeline sequencer.

That’s neat. It’s kind of a dirty sub-octave, because it’s going to alias like a @#$%r! But still neat.

Yeah you end up with just Square waves whatever the original signal was, but with some processing of just the sub, you can get pretty interesting results 
Definitely a cool technique that really amazed me the first time i heard about it !

great idea and some cool examples. 
may I suggest a little addition? Imho it would be great, when you would add the tiny patches in Stoermelders Strip format as Strip presets.
