I had a quick look at it. I run it at 96khz. Seems the right choice.
I have my Modular @parking in a corner of my room, so i can´t fire it up right now. And i patched only something like 5 times since November. So, hard to tell for me vs. the sound, but i´d say: Sounds good to me ! I´m NOT a 1:1 purist person, though.
What i definitly can tell is: in HW land, “Modular” in my case, am i totally a WT-VCO guy. In SW-land did i NOT find any WT-Synth that worked out for me.
I tested my own WTs i´ve made for my E370 on several SW WT synths. NONE was “sounding”…“my Sound” was NOT there !
Looks good with E370 in VCV rack. My strange very much high frequenzy content sounds are there. E370 has a to me a unique “hifi-ness” in the Highs. From subtle HiFi beauty to metallic to harsh, but it sounds allways pleasing,…i mean: awesome. NICE to dig in all the inbetweens. Works for me in VCV with that new “Synthtech in memoriam” release.
By all the analog HW vs. SW discussion, i have no problems to find “my” good analog sounds in SW, => with some post processing applyed. But i just never could find “my” digital WT-sound ITB. As strange this sounds.
