Is it possible to give both input and output functions to a single port like the Doepfer A-180?

Also electrically a bad idea as connecting 2 outs together by an accident of configuration leads to fire, and raising the output impedance to prevent this leads to lower frequency response and CV voltages drifting depending on the number of loading inputs.
