Surge XT

Oh I wonder if I init out of order on poly fx startup. If you don’t mind tossing on github that’s great or I can later today

I might be missing something, but can’t get the EOC trigger with Surge XT EG x VCA.

Surge XT v2.2.4.0
VCV Rack 2.5.2
WIN10

EOC of LFO x EG works without a problem.

Anyone else have this issue? Thank you!

EX x VCA_20241020.vcvs (17.5 KB)

Yes, I see the same issue here (same VCV & Surge XT versions but on Linux). Problem seems to be related to the tempo-sync of the envelope segments: when I disconnect the CLOCK input of EG x VCA, all is OK again (EOC trigger pulses are back).

It kinda works without a clock input ?

as @darchillus said.

Thank you, @darchillus and @Yeager!

Confirming that disconnecting the clock in EG x VCA brings back the trigger pulse .

Trigger was maintained when connecting the clock in LFO x EG, so the problem seems specific to EG x VCA.

Confirmed. Got the problem logged. We’ll fix it in the next update, though I can’t say when that will be cause we’re focusing on Shortcircuit presently. Thanks for reporting!

Yeah good eyes @andreya.ek.frisk on seeing the bug in the code and thanks for the report all. The fix took 10 minutes so I just fixed it and pushed - new nightly soon. I also queued it up as a 2.2.5.0 so when the library mechanism kicks in should be in your red-dot-update. Usually takes few days to a week or so for that. Sometimes more sometimes less.
