Wanting to route an external instrument into the VCV vst in Studio One. I currently have it somewhat working but it doesn’t seem right. Its basically routing itself back into the same channel. I’m using the vst as insert on the instruments channel. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Hi ZeroAlpha, with the screenshot l can help you. Its working as it should, you have it set up as an fx (look at your effects tabs for the channel, after the compressor, the audio goes through Rack FX). In rack itself, the audio goes through the mindmeld mixer and then back out. Try inserting an effect module (a delay or something) in the loop, and it will work as it should.

Hi Auret, thanks for the reply. Yea I just had this setup to check the signal flow and will add fx soon. Ok cool, so I seem to have figured it out lol. Just seems weird to be routing it back on itself
