Ben has made, what looks like for now, an initial commit wip v2 - api fixes and more · stoermelder/vcvrack-packone@05de804 · GitHub that has a fix for 8FaceMk2, which I don’t use so I never picked up on the need for that change.
If you combine his commit with the rest of my PR, you’ll have, for the time being, a more complete build.
Ben did check in some changes to his v2-dev branch, and now 8FACE WORKS!

There’s a minor API problem that I fixed in my fork, and I’ve submitted a pull request.
@Steve_Russell you might look at what’s on his v2-dev branch now. I didn’t look closely at your forked repo, but I suspect he’s already merged your pull request.

Hi, Zoom functions in STROKE are not working, “not compatible”. When will this work in V2 ? Thank you, Kris.
I think that the zoom buttons have some sort of conflict with the V2 key handling.
So the cause is know, now let’s make an “unconflict” fix 
I still have the VCV 1.1.6 (and the 2). I think that if you still have the folder where the Stoermelder modules are you can download any previous version and have access to the modules and open your old patches without them warnings telling you what modules are no longer available. What I couldn´t do is to have the 0.5 version and the 1.1.6 at the same time, I wanted to recover the time when there were Southpole modules but as I installed 0.5 the 1.1.6 got replaced and that would be a disgrace but I was lucky because someone updated them modules. Now I was looking for Stoermelder for the Rack 2 but it seems they’re not ready yet.
Not ready in the library yet but there’s some nightly builds/pre-releases here, just don’t complain if some of them don’t work right:
I installed the pre-release, but I’m only seeing 8Face in my module list. Any one seeing the other modules?

Rack 2 shows me 57 modules on both my MacBook and the Ubuntu laptop. I’ve only tried a few of them though.

What are you subscribed to in the Rack library? It can hide modules according to your preferences there.
@PaulPiko Not sure what you mean by subscribe. Do you mean the library online, or in my VCV browser?
