How to use it:

  • connect iPad to Mac using USB (IDAM) or network connection (Audio MIDI Setup)
  • in VCV, drop 2 MIDI CC-CV blocks
  • set MIDI input on blocks to iPad/IDAM or Network Session
  • set one block to receive on Channel 1 (distance) and another on Channel 2 (orientation)
  • build the patch
  • have fun…

This is great. Would be awesome if the midi cc were customizable.

Windows will be getting native MIDI 2.0-standard network midi soon. When that arrives, everything using regular windows midi (except maybe UWP) will just work.

The network midi is separate from the new midi service. There are previews, but they require “insider” builds of Windows, not retail AFAIK

Not tested with Windows, probably the easiest way to use with PC would be through 2 interfaces connected by a MIDI cable.
