All you youngsters! I turned 71 this past week. 
Seriously though, I get frustrated by both SoundCloud and YouTube audio compression and other unknown processing. Things sound different to me than what I uploaded.

In my experience, sometimes the timestamp doesn’t make it through to some recipients for whatever reason, so usually when sending a timestamped youtube video, I’ll also specify the timestamp in text. It’s inefficient, but people browse and read forums with so many different kinds of computers and operating systems that I think it’s worth the extra verbosity.
You’d think it would be a solved problem by this web 20.0 era that we live in, but it seems not
