Hi there. I’m currently using a software called BlackHole to reroute and multitrack audio from VCV into ableton. The problem with this is that I’d like to simultaneously use my external audio interface to record my hardware instruments as well, but cannot because my audio input on Ableton is set to BlackHole. Would I be able to resolve this issue by purchasing VCV Pro?
Yes, it should. You can run VCV as a VST inside Ableton and use whatever internal routing it has to record VCV’s tracks and the set Ableton to use your input device.
Great. Thanks! A friend also mentioned setting up an aggregate device so I’m gonna try that first but if it doesn’t work glad to know I have that option.
