Should homemade plugin show up in the modules pop-up?

My brother finished the first draft of a plugin. The log indicates it loaded successfully, but it’s not there in the modules palette with all the other ‘real’ plugins. Anything obvious he/I could be missing? Thanks.

yes, it should show up. Look at the log file - that will tell if vcv tried to load it, and if it failed, why it failed. Oh, sorry, I see you wrote the it shows up in the log. That very odd. Is the widget getting instantiated?

Thanks for the suggestions. Turned out you can’t give your plugin a version number 0.0. We got it fixed :).
