Testing the module with a couple of open source pianos such as VSCL Keys and Salamander Piano. I should note that the samples do load correctly in SquinkyLabs SFZ Player. The module correctly identifies the number of samples or “regions” in the sfz file that it should load, and the regions all identify the correct pathway, so I don’t know what the problem is.
SFZ Player is good for pianos, but Play does have unique functionality that SFZ Player lacks, e.g. CVable instrument hot-swapping and stereo playback.
Running in Ubuntu 24.04.4 if that’s possibly relevant.
There were two issues with how the module was handling certain SFZ format conventions which I’ve been able to fix. I’ll submit a new update to the library later this weekend, but if you would like early access, feel free to join my Discord for access to nightly builds.
