Following an enquiry on Reddit, I made this with ShapeMaster. Turn the knob and the playhead scans over the curve (it can be any curve) and outputs the voltage at that part of the curve.
Using phasors over clocks usually, this is a use case that comes up a lot. I have used all of the above modules for this exact purpose. ![]()
This is exactly what I am trying to do. But I only want a simple curve with two nodes, start and end. Cannot get that to work.
The goal is to create a response curve for Linnstrument input. I’ve got everything working except I cannot draw the two node curve. Delete the middle node and the line goes flat, loses its control tip, and the two end nodes move in tandem.
what module are you talking about?
If it’s only a two-node curve and you want to have it exp<->lin<->log you can use the shaped vca by Venom
Or if you want the option of a J or S-curve you could try Swave by DHE and have that control your input with a vca:
BTW: shapemaster, which you mention I think, can also do it (times 8) but you have to decouple the first and last node in the context menu of the desired channel
