I don’t consider any form of activation acceptable. I use several applications whom’s original developers closed up shop, and every one of them would have screamed blue in the face it would have never happened and the DRM would never fail, blah blah.

With Fl studio, you get a Reg file that can be used for Offline activation as many times as needed, on as much computer as you own 
Also you get lifetime free updates.
FL is often associated with low effort rap/house beats…(let’s be honest half the FL community is about that),
but it’s a monster of a Daw, with an interesting and effective workflow.
And yeah, i love the fact that you can offline activate, have lifetime upgrades, and have unlimited activations (as long as it’s for personal use)
