Resources for persons new to Modular Synthesis

So you’re new. Not like, new to VCV Rack, but super new. Like, fell down a youtube hole and landed on Richard Devine’s channel new. You took one look and decided you have an appetite for technicolor spaghetti. Well, you’re not the only one. In fact, someone asked this very same question on the facebook group yesterday. He got a lot of responses with very good resources. The problem with facebook is that the information gets buried after a few days. I decided to collect those resources here so that I can go back to them later. You’ll be able to find them now, too. Definitely reply with any other resources you have found useful. I’ll update the original with any new sources I find. If this thread gets out of hand with comments and questions, I’ll start adding your guys’ stuff to the original.

This is a very good top down walk through, which looks at modular synthesis from an engineering perspective. I recommend it for everyone:
