rack not opening

ive downloaded and installed rack but when i go to open it it just says “rack is already running. multiple rack instances are not permitted.” plz help

Check in Task Manager that there isn’t a Rack.exe already running. If so, end the process(es) and relaunch.

im trying that, doesnt seem to work. im still getting the same “rack is already running” response

Same symptoms occasionally happen to me, only PC reboot helps.

I exp this on Windows 10 Rack 1.1.6. I have to End all processes using Resource Monitor to shutdown cleanly. It stays open but disappears from Resource Monitor completely if shut down another way, but still gives the already running error and wont open otherwise.
