Just curious here, but I can’t figure out what you mean by 4ppqn/16th note.
I think the “/” is just used as a separator here, and that he means “4ppqn i.e. 16th note”, since 4 pulses per quarter notes is the same as 16th notes. At least that’s how I understand it.
Argh - I was going to guess that, but the real answer beat me by a second.

Yes, with P4 IN, you can’t have BPM OUT in CV mode. And presumably Clocked would have to set BPM out (if in CV mode) to something. If you have 3 clock outs would BPM OUT be set to the CV of the clock IN, or which clock OUT do you match the BPM CV to? I can see where having one BPM OUT presents a limitation. Even if you can keep the BPM OUT in CV mode. In my case if the BPM IN is P4 and the clock out is x8, I need the BPM OUT to match the x8 clock out CV. #shrug It may be possible to chain Clocked modules to achieve the end goal here, I’m not sure.
BTW, the clock from the ES-9 originates from my Eurorack Acid Rain Maestro. As does the reset. The Maestro gets it’s clock from Pam’s New Workout. And Pam’s gets it’s BPM from the Nerdseq sequencer. I have choices on clock source. It’s been trial and error to find least problematic chain. VCV2 is NOT used so far as a VST plugin.

I expect that the CLOCKED BPM out will correspond to the main clock out CLK. I think there is a good possibility that we can get this working after Marc’s CLOCKED option menu feature is in the library. Without this, it definitely will not work.

I first read SIASL in 1967. Left to my own understanding, the word was pronounced “groke” with a long ‘o’. I will never metagrok this duality. 
His widow released the unedited version (as original was too butchered for H’s taste) which is quite a bit more voluminous, worth finding IMHO.
Yep, time flies. The original came out in 1961. The unabridged version came out on the 30th anniversary in 1991. And here we are at the 30th anniversary of that one. I enjoyed both.
You might find a 24ppqn works better in terms of a master clock sync rate. The initial sync and changes in tempo will transmit through the system faster with a faster clock - things will feel more responsive.
Clocked has no problem syncing to a faster external clock, and your Pam’s can certainly output one, maybe the NerdSeq too. The first time Marc and I ever worked together was a few years ago when I put in a feature request for Clocked to be able to sync to an external audio pulse clock - in that case I wanted Clocked to sync to a 24ppqn clock output from either my Pam’s New Workout or Silent Way Sync in my DAW. Marc said he was happy to code it if I was happy to test it. We worked together on it for 10 days or so (along with Latif) and that brief but intense relationship led to MindMeld being born about 9 months later…
Meander for Windows which I developed starting in 1988 used 96 ppqn. Of course it was really Meander for DOS in 1988 
My DOS sequencer from 1984 used 96 ppq also. Eventually there was some PPQ war and I added more…
The new version of CLOCKED in the library now works fine with Meander. From the CLOCKED right click options menu, enable “BPM out is CV when ext. sync”. Then connect the CLOCKED BPM output to the Meander BPM input. Set up a CLOCKED x8 clock and send that output to Meander “8X BPM Clock” input. Send CLOCKED RESET out to Meander RESET in.
Be sure to set the CLOCKED BPM mode to P4 or whatever you are receiving from your ES9, such as P24.
I have mocked all of this up using multiple CLOCKED instances and confirmed that Meander now works with CLOCKED receiving an external BPM clock.
